About the island - Pine Island is the largest in southwest Florida, just 1 hour from Southwest  Florida International Airport.  The island is quaint, secluded and has a tropical, charming atmosphere.  Surrounded by mangroves, it is one of Florida's undiscovered secrets.  It is a wildlife sanctuary for many migrating birds and we have our very own Osprey nest out the master bedroom window!  It has long been known as the "Tarpon Capital of the World" and has been named the 6th best island for

fishing in the world.  This quiet, scenic island has some of the most breathtaking sunsets you'll ever see.  Now all you have to do is come visit.
